Idaho National Laboratory applies its capabilities in vulnerability analysis and full-scale explosives testing facilities with award-winning technology and fabrication departments to develop and test new protective systems for military forces, law-enforcement agencies, homeland security personnel and industry partners.
INL has a National Security Test Range to analyze and test full–scale defense systems under real–world conditions. The flexibility of the test range accommodates custom test setups for diverse development and testing campaigns.
INL’s isolated landscape and nuclear materials inventory supports real-world weapons of mass destruction training exercises. Sessions include a mixture of classroom and field exercises taught by experts with backgrounds in radiological detection, measurement and interrogation techniques.
