The Idaho National Laboratory partners with universities, supports military workforce programs, engages with state organizations and participates in regional and local STEM outreach through educational camps, training and workshops.These partnerships strengthen research collaboration, advance innovation and help prepare the next generation of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) professionals.
University and Student Relationships
INL’s National and Homeland Security Workforce Development team works with students, faculty and universities to provide internships, fellowships, joint appointments, capstone projects, research collaborations, workshops and curriculum resources that contribute to INL’s research.
Idaho STEM Summer Camps
Idaho National Laboratory is hosting STEM Scholars, CyberCore and Clean Energy summer camp programs. These three programs are free, and learning materials are provided. Snacks will be provided and students should bring their own lunch.
U.S. Air Force Fellowship
The INL Air Force Fellows program fosters collaboration between Idaho National Laboratory and the U.S. Air Force to address critical national security challenges through innovation and expertise.
Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity Training and Escape Rooms
INL provides innovative training and development opportunities to meet emerging threats and workforce demands aimed at securing industrial control systems across sectors.
