Education and Outreach

Battelle Energy Alliance, operator of INL, is dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community and region. INL’s Community Engagement programs support charitable organizations providing for the basic needs of children and the underprivileged. The lab is committed to inclusion and diversity, which supports vital programs in rural and underserved communities.

Additionally, our National University and K-12 Education Enrichment programs inspire Idaho’s future science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) workforce and feed the talent pipeline. We empower students, teachers and families, as well as invest in education and research partnerships with regional and national institutions. INL also plays host to academic visitors, international researchers, graduate and undergraduate interns, joint appointees, graduate fellows, postdoctoral researchers and university faculty members.
