The Employee Association provides opportunities for employees to explore their outside interests together through events and community activities.
The program is open to all Battelle Energy Alliance (BEA) employees, postdocs and interns without dues. Corporate funds support free and subsidized family and group events for interested employees.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, upcoming events are planned to allow for social distancing. Recent activities have included a raffle for free parking passes for the Teton Valley Balloon Rally, tickets to attend social distanced baseball games, virtual trivia nights and drive-in movie passes. The association will continue to add new activities to plan diverse opportunities to meet a wide variety of interests.
The Employee Association partners with local businesses to offer discounts to BEA employees. This merchant discount list can be seen on the internal employee website and is regularly updated with new participating businesses.
