IDAHO FALLS — Battelle Energy Alliance (BEA), operator of Idaho National Laboratory, is accepting applications for charitable grants through Nov. 1. The application for submitting 2022 grant requests is available at this link.
“The challenges met this year have illustrated the strength that resides within our diverse nonprofit community,” INL Director John Wagner said. “We are proud to support charitable organizations providing valuable resources to community members.”
BEA is dedicated to supporting charities in our community and region by helping organizations serving the basic needs of children, people at risk and underserved communities. We also support charitable efforts that provide a higher quality of life in our region through environmental and sustainability programs, veterans support efforts, culture and the arts.
“BEA appreciates the opportunity to invest in local organizations supporting underrepresented individuals,” said Misty Benjamin, INL philanthropic program manager. “For charities unfamiliar with the grants, we are happy to provide guidance on the application process.”
INL is a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratory that performs work in each of DOE’s strategic goal areas: energy, national security, science and environment. INL is the nation’s center for nuclear energy research and development. Day-to-day management and operation of the laboratory is the responsibility of Battelle Energy Alliance.
