Bioenergy Feedstock National User Facility

Meet the Team

At the Biomass Feedstock National User Facility (BFNUF), our team brings together leading scientists, engineers, and technical specialists dedicated to advancing biomass preprocessing and bioenergy innovation. As a congressionally designated national user facility at Idaho National Laboratory (INL), BFNUF offers cutting-edge technology, deep expertise, and collaborative support to help industry, academia, and government partners overcome technical barriers to scale up biomass processing and integration for a sustainable bioeconomy. Our collective focus is on optimizing supply logistics, preprocessing methods, and feedstock characterization to accelerate bioenergy solutions that strengthen U.S. energy leadership and resilience.
