JASON STOLWORTHY, J.D.
Director of Technology Deployment
Jason Stolworthy is Idaho National Laboratory’s Director of Technology Deployment. Over his career, he has specialized all matters related to innovating, protecting, transferring and commercializing technologies developed from research in diverse environments at universities, private international organizations and national laboratories. Stolworthy is a registered patent attorney and holds bachelor’s degrees from Idaho State University in chemistry and biochemistry, a master’s degree from University of Idaho in chemical engineering and a Juris Doctor degree from University of Idaho College of Law.
RYAN BILLS
Senior Commercialization Manager
Ryan Bills manages the Energy & Environment Science and Technology directorate intellectual property portfolio, which includes technologies ranging from radiation decontamination and water treatment processes to battery materials and renewable energy technologies. He works with inventors to determine commercial viability of discoveries, licensing, patents and copyrights. He also manages relationships with existing licensing partners and supports Energy &Environment and Technology staff in developing proposals for technology maturation. Before joining INL, he spent more than 12 years in the semiconductor industry in various capacities. He is a Certified Licensing Professional, holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Idaho and an MBA from Idaho State University.
JONATHAN COOK
Senior Commercialization Manager
Jon Cook manages the National and Homeland Security directorate intellectual portfolio and chairs the Department of Energy’s Technology Transfer Working Group. Prior to working at INL, he worked for five years at the University of Wisconsin System Technology Transfer Office as a licensing executive and program manager for the University of Wisconsin System Applied Research Grant Program. He holds a bachelor’s degree in life science communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a Licensing Executives Society certified licensing professional.
TOUSSAINT L. MYRICKS
Senior Software Commercialization Manager
Toussaint L. Myricks is an electrical engineer graduate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a patent attorney and intellectual property strategist with over two decades of professional experience. At INL, he is focused on helping technical staff leverage artificial intelligence technologies to optimize content and code creation. He also focuses on negotiating and drafting agreements implementing software commercialization strategies to further INL’s mission.
DENISE BERTSCH
Commercialization Manager
Denise Bertsch manages the Nuclear Science and Technology directorate intellectual property portfolio. She is responsible for evaluating and protecting intellectual property, advancing commercial readiness, and licensing nuclear technologies. She also manages external corporate and institutional relationships. Prior to working at INL, she was a licensing executive at the University of Utah Technology Commercialization Office, where she managed a multimillion-dollar life sciences portfolio. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the College of Wooster and completed five years toward a Ph.D. in biochemistry at the University of Utah.
JIM KEATING
Commercialization and Entrepreneurship Programs Manager
Jim Keating is instrumental in fostering an innovation culture, managing the Technical Assistance Program, serving as a national instructor for the Department of Energy’s Energy I-Corps program, creating and teaching INL’s internal I-Corps Lite program, and connecting INL researchers with regional investors and industry partners. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from Valparaiso University, a master’s degree of engineering in materials science and engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, and an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is also a certified licensing professional with more than 25 years of experience working in industry and as a venture capitalist.

Property Licensing Specialist
June Cook manages the licensing processes for technology transfer including license agreements, income sharing agreements, open-source software licenses, and copyright assertions. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Idaho State University in business management.
MORGAN GOODY
Technology Transfer and Licensing Specialist
Morgan Goody is responsible for managing correspondence related to obtaining access to INL’s modeling and simulation software. She holds a bachelor’s degree in science from Idaho State University.
ANDREW RANKIN
Intellectual Asset Marketing Specialist
Andrew Rankin leads the marketing and strategic deployment of new lab technologies. He crafts go-to-market plans, conducts in-depth market analyses and implements custom artificial intelligence tools to boost outreach, connect with potential licensees and streamline processes in tech transfer. He holds an MBA from Idaho State University, a bachelor’s in marketing from Utah Valley University and was named Early Career Professional of the Year in 2020.

Industry Engagement Marketing Specialist
Javier Martinez connects industry and business professionals to the lab’s facilities and capabilities through outreach and marketing strategies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA from Idaho State University.
WENDY SKINNER
Senior Business Applications Analyst
Wendy Skinner is responsible for all data reporting, data analytics, IT systems, and Technology Deployment compliance activity. Her career at the laboratory has involved many aspects of IT including database design and web development. She has a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Brigham Young University.

Paige Price conducts assessments of new technologies and capabilities, identifies related prior art, and assists with innovation and commercialization initiatives. Paige has a bachelor’s degree in applied physics from Brigham Young University.

Technology Transitions Strategic Investments Specialist
Danielle Ferreira supports initiatives related to innovation, entrepreneurship, technology maturation, licensing and technology transfer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Binghamton University in New York.
