Commercial and industrial smart buildings pilot at Jay Peak Resort

The project leverages Jay Peak Resort’s existing building management system and on average reduces load between 200-300 kW during the 13 peaks that VEC targets through its VPP programs.

Providing electrified bus for local school district

In 2021 La Plata Electric Association and Durango School District 9-R located in Durango, Colorado acquired an electric school bus and installed a vehicle-to-grid capable DC fast charging station
