The A/SMR Cybersecurity and Operational Resilience Summit is pleased to welcome Utah Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson as a keynote speaker. Henderson will discuss the state's growing partnership with Idaho National Laboratory, the U.S. Department of Energy and industry to advance the secure deployment of advanced nuclear technologies. Her participation highlights the region's shared commitment to strengthening America's energy security and nuclear innovation.

The A/SMR 2026 summit is shaping up to be a premier event, featuring high-level keynote speakers, engaging panel discussions and timely topical breakout sessions focused on the secure deployment of advanced and small modular reactors by embedding cybersecurity and resilience into reactor design, validation, licensing, supply chain and workforce education.

Registration

Registration includes access to keynote sessions, panel discussions and technical presentations, as well as enhanced networking opportunities and on-site activities.

Registration will close for all participants on August 4, 2026. Non-U.S. citizens are required to complete registration by July 3, 2026, to ensure adequate time for any necessary travel documentation and entry requirements.

Nuclear cybersecurity leaders advancing the future of secure reactors

Building on the momentum of past collaboration, INL’s nuclear cybersecurity team convened industry leaders at the A/SMR Cybersecurity and Operational Resilience Summit on Aug. 19, 2025, in Salt Lake City. Participants included organizations such as Berkshire Hathaway Energy, Curtiss-Wright and Hitachi Energy.

The summit helped shape emerging cybersecurity frameworks, tools and best practices to support the secure design, operation and supply chain integrity of advanced and small modular reactors — laying important groundwork for continued progress at the 2026 event.

Keynote Speakers

Deidre M. Henderson

Utah Lieutenant Governor

Deidre M. Henderson took office as Utah’s ninth lieutenant governor on January 4, 2021. Prior to being elected lieutenant governor, she served for eight years in the Utah State Senate. Henderson earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Brigham Young University. She and her husband, Gabe, live in Spanish Fork, where they raised their five children. Lt. Governor Henderson has dedicated her time in public office to advancing a limited, accountable, and effective government, promoting civic responsibility, and making elections secure, transparent, and accessible to Utah voters.

Harry Wingo

Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, Circadence
Former Deputy National Cyber Director

Harry Wingo is Senior Vice President at Circadence Corporation and former Deputy National Cyber Director, bringing over 25 years of government and corporate leadership experience — including 15 years focused on information and communications technology law and policy.

Before his career in law and technology, Mr. Wingo served for more than six years as a Navy SEAL officer. He later built an distinguished career spanning the public and private sectors, serving as President and CEO of the D.C. Chamber of Commerce; Senior Policy Counsel at Google; Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation; Special Counsel to the General Counsel of the Federal Communications Commission; and an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.

A recognized voice on national security and emerging technology, Mr. Wingo has taught cyber policy and strategy at the National Defense University and has testified before the U.S. Senate on drone innovation and security. He is a graduate of Yale Law School and the United States Naval Academy.
