b'FY-23 DEMOGRAPHICSThe demographics of FY-23 funded interns from Battelle Energy Alliance (BEA) were as follows: 33% female, 36% people of color, 1% veterans and 7% people with disabilities. In terms of FY-23s 21 INL graduate fellows, including33%carryover and hires, 19% were female and 33% were ethnic minorities. Among the 106 postdocs, including carryover and fiscal year hires, 22% were female and 70% were ethnic minorities. These numbers reflect the labs commitment to diversity, equity and inclusivity, as we strive to foster a more diverse representation throughout the organization. FY-23 funded interns from BEA that identify as female37%STUDENT STEM AMBASSADORSINL completed its inaugural year for the Student STEM Ambassador program. Funded through the Office of Science, the program uses former Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship interns to be ambassadors for INL and the Office of Science at their campuses. We had a successful year using fourFY-23 funded interns from BEA that are people of colorstudents in outreach efforts at their schools and via social media.
